sick and all stuffed up?

i’m feeling fairly sickly and stuffed up today, so i decided to make some homemade soup, with an asian twist to it.

ingredients: noodles, water, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, seaweed, and LOTS of crushed red pepper flakes.

bring water to a boil and put noodles in the pot. let it boil for a while and then add in the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, a little bit of fish sauce and sesame oil; sprinkle an abundance of crushed red pepper flakes on it. let it cook for a while until the noodles are done and then transfer everything into a bowl. put in the seaweed and sprinkle more red pepper flakes on it.

and that’s it! so easy to make (which is good because i don’t really feel like playing iron chef when i’m sick) and the perfect remedy.

and of couuuurse i decide to renew my license on a day i’m feeling sick and wearing no makeup. i don’t know why i always forget that they need to take a new picture… and now i’m stuck with it until 2018. good one gretchen.

  1. Hope you feel better soon! Soup looks and sounds great! That’s cool that you made your own soup to feel better instead of something canned or bought. I made chicken noodle soup one time I was sick… determined to make myself well!
